The stones used to inlay the design are, Mother of Pearl, Jet, Turquoise, Malachite, Sterling Silver, Mussel shell, Pipestone, red Coral, Variscite, and Yellow Ochre.
The burned design at the mouth piece is an ancient Mississippian pottery design and is inlayed with Quohog shell (wampum).
The Eagle Dancer effigy top is carved from Black Walnut and Purpleheart, with red deer hair used for the roach.
